HTC and Roku are keeping busy with their brand new releases. Meanwhile, Motorola is offering a very neat deal for wood lovers.
The HTC Butterfly series is known for being among the manufacturer’s best. Sadly, these devices don’t make it outside Asia. Such is the case for the HTC Butterfly 2, a new devices headed for the Japan and East Asia.
It follows a similar plastic, yet attractive build that its predecessors are known for. Specs won’t disappoint you, as this device is as good as the One M8 (if not a bit better). It packs a powerful Snapdragon 801 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 13/32 GB of internal storage, a 5-inch 1080p display, 13MP/5MP cameras and a 2700 mAh battery.
Opinion: Sadly, we more than likely won’t see this phone in most of the world. Those in East Asia and Japan can circle September as the launch month, though. Enjoy the device! It looks like a winner.
Roku TV is launching with TCL and Hisense as the first partners. The latter has announced September availability, while TCL has just started pre-orders on its Roku TV H4 series. Those who have been itching to get a Roku TV can now put their name on one!
The Roku TV comes in 3 versions varying in size: 40 inches, 48 inches and 55 inches. These are prices affordably at $329.99, $499.99 and $679.99, relatively. You can get these straight from Amazon.
Opinion: Not a bad price if you ask us, but TCL is also not known for offering the best TVs out there.
Motorola is currently running a very tempting offer on Moto Maker. The Moto X is most popular for being one of the only devices to offer a wooden design. Bringing you closer to nature costs an extra bit of cash, though.
Wood fans can now purchase a Moto X and upgrade to a wooden back for free. The offer will be up until August 21st, so you have a couple days to act before it’s too late! Head to Moto Maker and design yours!
Opinion: The Moto X+1 should be on its way, which is probably why good Moto X offers are showing up more often. I do love those wooden backs, though!
