The Honor 4X has been around China for a while, but we didn’t get a chance to check it out until now. It’s a great affordable smartphone, but is it the one for you? You may not even be able to get it, but if your market offers it you may jut want to put it in your list of options.
This device comes with a very modest set of specifications, as its price is very accessible. The Honor 4X is powered by a Snapdragon 410 processor, 2 GB of ROM and Android 4.4. Other specs include a 5.5-inch 720p display, 13MP/5MP cameras, dual-SIM capabilities and a powerful 3000 mAh battery.
You can definitely tell it’s no high-end smartphone, but the device manages to feel pretty well in the hand. The design is very nice and the phone definitely doesn’t feel like a 5.5-inch behemoth. The Honor team definitely did a good job here.
Oh, and frequent travelers will be stoked to learn that the Honor 4X does offer a dual-SIM configuration with support for 4G LTE.
Huawei is doing a great thing with their Honor brand spinoff. They wanted a new perspective in order to reach new markets, and Honor is helping them sell a lot of unit. Who would have thought?
Check out our hands-on video and let us know what you think of these Honor devices. Are you more inclined to buy one not that they are not Huawei phones (thought they really are)?
