At CES 2014 we took a look at the HiSense X1, a 6.8-inch phablet with a full HD display and other high-end specs. The X1 is absolutely mammoth and should appeal to hard core phablet users who claim that bigger is always better.
The HiSense X1’s 6.8-inch IPS display features a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The huge phablet is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 processor, running at 2.3 GHz. It comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of memory, too. The HiSense X1 has an impressive 13-megapixel back camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera onboard. It also runs Android 4.3 and measures 9.7-millimeters thick with its metal housing.
The phablet should cost around $400 when it is released in the first quarter of 2014. Check our our hands-on video for more:
