The Google Nexus 9 Tablet stays true to its lineage with a soft touch finish and clean simple lines. It’s manufactured by HTC and it’s everything the rumors predicted and more!
The Nexus 9 tablet comes with a 8.9 inch display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 running an Nvidia K1 64-bit dual core processor, 2GB or RAM and comes with LTE. In terms of storage we’re going to have a few different options, starting at 16GB, 32GB and the LTE edition comes only in a 32GB variety.
The Nexus 9 is only 7.87mm thick and weights in at 435g for the WiFi version and 426g for the LTE. It is runnign Android L, which if you want to learn more about we’ve got a full detailed write up on that here.
Since this tablet was manufatured by HTC it should come as no surprise that it is sporting dual front facing speakers with HTCs BoomSound. Cameras are fairly standard with 8MP on the rear with 1080p capabilities and a sensor size of f2.4 on the front we’ve got a 1.6MP that is capable of 720p video recording.
Connectivity wise we’ve got NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm audio jack, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 & 5GHz) 2×2 MIMO, Chromecast and a MicroUSB port. One feature that we’re pretty pleased with is the rather larger battery, it’s got a capacity of 6700mAh.
The Nexus 9 even comes with a few accesories, a case and a folio with a keyboard. We got to check these out last week, the keyboard is just ok, the case is really nice.
If you’re looking to pick one up, November 3rd for $399 is the word on the street.
