Google Glass is about to get a consumer-friendly redesign. Meanwhile, RadioShack files for bankruptcy. But it’s not all bad news – the new Game of Thrones game is out!
Google Glass is out of its testing grounds and now no one can join in on the Explorer program. What comes next? Well, the plan is to polish the experience in order to bring it to consumers in its “perfect” state.
The new team in charge of Google Glass is already taking over the project. New reports state the company is starting from scratch. The new product, which is set to be designed by Nest founder and CEO Tony Fadell, will not be released until it’s perfect.
Opinion: This likely means the new Google Glass will be nothing like what we have seen so far. This is actually a good thing, as Google Glass actually lacked user friendliness and seemed like a half-baked product.
RadioShack has oficially filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, signaling the doom of a retail chain that most of us grew up with, and never thought would find itself dying. What is going to happen? Well, it seems Amazon has lost the bid and now we know Sprint and Standard General are ready to help RadioShack stay alive… at least partly.
Sprint is said to be purchasing up to 2400 of its stores. Sprint would then take about a third of these retail locations and run their own business within the RadioShack stores.
Opinion: RadioShack may be dying, but it is not going down without a fight. That’s for sure. I mean… to partner up with Sprint. They must be really desperate.
Just as promised, the new Game of Thrones Episode 2 game has been launched on consoles, computers and mobile devices. It has been rolling out through the past couple days and today the launch reaches its completion by reaching Android and iOS.
Opinion: Not much else to talk about here. Let’s just all go waste our entire nights playing this game, shall we?
