There’s plenty of interesting products at CES, all meant for different audiences and markets. A very interesting wearable at the show floor was Feeltact, a device meant to offer quick, silent and simple communication between team members.
It’s very unique, which is why we stopped by to take a look at it. It’s pretty much a bracelet with 4 sections. One above, one below and two on the sides. These sections hold buttons you can press, which would then activate a vibration in the same area, in other people’s bracelets.
You can assign what each side of the bracelet means. We were told it is actually being used at hotels. An example of Feeltact in action could be when laundry needs to be done, or maybe when the trash cans need to be emptied. Angry costumers? Help is at the touch of a button.
You can customize it all within the official app. It’s a simple concept, but one that will make workflow much easier for many companies. It really all depends on how you want to apply it. Check out our hands-on coverage and let us know how you would use it!
