We passed by the Dell booth to take a look at their new tablets and couldn’t leave without getting some hands-on time with the Dell Venue 7. This affordable tablet may be just what you are looking for! Let’s check it out.
This Dell Venue 7 is much slimmer and better than its predecessor. It has a very comfortable soft touch plastic body, which does feel pretty good for an affordable device. The buttons do feel a bit cheaper, but they will do for most casual users.
The device sports Android 4.4 KitKat, powered by 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Merrifield processor and 1 GB of RAM. Also inside you will find 16 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via the microSD card slot. The 7-inch display is not too bad either, with a 1280x800p resolution.
The device will be retailing for a mere $160, so we shouldn’t be expecting much more from it. I say it’s not a bad device for the price.
