Today’s afternoon news roundup is quite fun. Christian Bale may have declined to play Steve Jobs. Other stories include flying cars and a battle against the Macbook Air.
Sony’s new Steve Jobs biopic is prone to be an interesting one, featuring actors like Christian Bale and Seth Rogen. The former may no longer be in the cast, though. The latest rumors say Bale has withdrawn from the project.
It’s said he believed not to be the right actor for such role, which contradicts what the producers believed. It’s said Leonardo DiCaprio was another option, so we may very well see the famous actor taking up the role.
Opinion: It must take a lot for an actor to step away from such an important role. It proves he must be really committed to his art. I will have to agree neither him or DiCaprio strike me as a good Steve Jobs, though.
Memories of flying cars have haunted our dreams for generations. Especially for those of us who grew up watching the Supersonics, in an era when technology was just about to go BOOM.
Fast-forward to 2014 and the idea is no longer impossible. In fact, some projects have risen and we are closer to making flying cars a reality than ever. Enter the Aeromobil 3.0, a functional prototype we may ver well see in production in the near-future.
It fits all car standards. It can be in any road, park in any parking space and uses regular gasoline to operate. Transform it into a plane and you will be able to use any airport or grass strip in the world for landing and taking off.
Opinion: Maybe soon we will all be going to flight school and getting our pilot licenses. That reality is a bit further down the road (or horizon), but a car like this could be great for a multitude of use cases. Drool over the video and stay hopeful!
The Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro is definitely one of the coolest convertible laptops you will find around, but is it good enough to take on the Macbook Air? Microsoft seems to believe so. Their latest ad puts the Yoga 3 Pro right up against the Macbook Air.
The video touches on multiple subjects, like Lenovo’s thinner design and touchscreen addition. Of course, the focus is on the form-factor, though. The Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro can take multiple forms, becoming whatever you want it to be.
Opinion: Of course, there are many other specs and factors to consider when choosing the right laptop. Take a look at our Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro first impressions if you would like to learn more about it!
