Finding the right audio equipment can be a hassle. There’s a sea of options and set-ups, but us geeks definitely prefer the bluetooth wireless speakers. Especially those who are looking to get a good mobile experience.
We all know laptops, smartphones and tablets tend to have horrible sound. It’s an area that definitely needs to evolve, and advancements like BoomSound are really making things better. Regardless, we do need a little more sound boost while everything is being worked out.
Is it time to get yourself a new bluetooth speaker? The holidays are also coming, and these always make for an awesome gift. We have put together a list of our very favorite bluetooth speakers so you can have an easier time finding the right one. Let’s jump right into it!
Bose SoundLink Mini
You won’t find much better portable bluetooth speakers at this price and size. The Bose SoundLink Mini costs $200, but it offers rich and full sound with no distortion or issues. Very few users are unsatisfied with it, and that is because there is not much to complain about.
Of course, Bose won’t give you that oomph many of you look for in portable tech. We all know Bose is not the best at making sexy speakers, and the SoundLink Mini looks very formal and classic. It sure makes up for it with sound quality.
Logitech UE Boom
The Logitech UE Boom happens to be one of my personal favorites. This bluetooth speaker is effective, powerful, resistant and very good looking. Its cylindrical shape and around 15 hours of battery life make it super portable and convenient to carry around.
Don’t be fooled by its size and good looks, though. This is one hell of a speaker, loud enough to throw a party. And if one is not enough, you can even link it to another UE Boom, creating a stereo effect. I also love their omni-directional nature, which fills up your room with clear sounds and a deep bass.
It is water and stain resistant, so you know it won’t be breaking on you if you spill your drink on it.
Soundmatters foxL DASH7
If you want superior quality in a truly portable fashion, my first recommendation is always the Soundmatters foxL DASH7. I first used it at CES 2012 and let me tell you guys, I haven’t heard better quality in this size before. In fact, it easily beats many of the larger bluetooth speakers.
The sound is rich, clear, free of distortion and surprisingly loud for the size of this little guy. It literally fits anywhere and offers top-quality audio. It won’t be cheap, though, as it still costs $199.
the JBL Pulse costs around $200 which puts it in competition with some of the best portable bluetooth speakers out there. Let’s start by saying the JBL Pulse sounds good, but it doesn’t sound $200 good.
What makes the JBL special is that it looks amazingly gorgeous, making it a speaker that can easily double as a great center piece. The device features integrated lights, which give users a show no other speaker can match.
SuperTooth Disco 4
We know all the speakers we have been recommending are expensive. That’s because they are the best and come from very well-known manufacturers. Getting a good bluetooth speaker doesn’t always have to mean you need to spend hundreds of dollars, though.
There is a plethora of affordable bluetooth speakers. Every now and then then you will also find some jewels that offer amazing quality for unbelievable prices. Such is the case with the SuperTooth Disco 4.
We are sure you likely haven’t heard of this speaker or brand, but you should really put attention to it. It offers amazing quality for just a bit over $50. I can easily say it matches some of the big guys. The speaker has a great range of sounds for the price. And if you are a fan of powerful bass, you will love this little guy.
