When it comes to smart watches, there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all concept. This is something people with smaller wrists (especially women) have realized until now, as most of these gadgets tend to be on the larger side of the spectrum.
We are at Computex 2015 taking a look at all the goodies to come this year, and of course ASUS had to take the stage light with the ZenWatch 2. You can be sure we were there taking a very close look at it, so stick around and let us tell you all about it.
ASUS has been a little quiet on specs. All we know about the internals is that there will be a Qualcomm processor under the hood, and it comes with Android Wear version 5.1.1. But of course, what makes this smart watch special is the aesthetic elements it touts.
The watch is gorgeous, that’s for sure. It is made with premium materials and sports a very stylish and elegant look. There are two versions. The smaller one is the WI502Q, which measures 45x37mm. Meanwhile, the larger iteration measures in at 49x41mm.
Both will come in silver, gunmetal and rose gold/ Each will come with its matching watch straps, and there is a bunch of available options for those who want a little more unique look. Now, the larger does seem a bit more solid, as it is held by a stainless steel case.
Obviously, the strap sizes are also different. The smaller watch will feature 18 mm straps, while the bigger ones measure 22 mm. Slight difference that will definitely change the way these bad boys look.
We are hoping to hear more when IFA comes around, in September. Be sure to stay tuned until then, as we will probably be hearing more about it soon, too. For now, enjoy our hands-on coverage and marvel over this beauties.
