We have all seen the ASUS Zenfone 5, but the previous version had lesser specs and no 4G LTE connectivity. ASUS decided not to conform and released this improved iteration of the smartphone, codenamed the A500CG.
It comes packed with Android 4.4 KitKat, a snappy Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, a 5-inch 720p display, a 2110 mAh battery and of course, LTE connectivity. Otherwise, the device feels just as good as the previous model, which we saw at CES.
The device is not a bad alternative for those looking to get an affordable device. It is rolling out right after Computex, so more information on pricing will come very soon. We also have a review of the ASUS Zenfone 6, just in case you want to learn about the Zenfone 5’s bigger brother.
