During today’s ASUS’ Zensational presentation at Computex 2015, ASUS chairman Jonney Shih introduced the Zen AiO, a possible iMac killer. It’s quite amazing, so stick around for a good overview of this exciting computer.
In ASUS’ terms, the Zen brand is reserved for premium products, and the AiO is definitely one of them. Two versions will be available, one with a 23.8-inch screen (Zen AiO Z240IC) and a smaller iteration with a 21.5-inch display (Zen AiO Z220IC). Both are premium devices and feature a unibody construction made of aluminium.
All-in-one PCs are nothing new, and they are nothing new to ASUS either, but this time ASUS used high-end components in order to create a premium product. It has the latest generation Intel Core i7 (quad core) processor, along with 32 GB of DDR4 RAM and a 512 GB SSD.
That’s not all, gamers should also be satisfied as the Zen AiO is powered by an NVIDIA GTX 960M graphics card. And ASUS didn’t forget to put some decent audio inside, six speakers (3 per side) will deliver a clear full-range sound.
What an amazing machine, right? If it’s not an iMac killer, it sure is a worthy competitor that will keep Apple engineers awake for some nights.
