Apple Watch buyers may be in for a surprise. Meanwhile, LG and Chevy are showing what the future holds (one is coming much sooner than the other).
Those of you who have pre-ordered the Apple Watch are expecting a pretty long wait, which extend all the way over to May and June. Most of customers are not holding their breath just yet, but the latest email notifications may have you feeling pretty excited.
It turns some customers are receiving emails informing them their orders are now “Processing”, even though they weren’t supposed to ship until much later. Apple has provided a statement and our suspicions hold true.
“We’re happy to be updating many customers today with the news that their Apple Watch will arrive sooner than expected. Our team is working to fill orders as quickly as possible based on the available supply and the order in which they were received. We know many customers are still facing long lead times and we appreciate their patience.” -Apple
Opinion: This is nice for a change. We usually see delays in Apple products with high demand. Did any of you pre-order the Apple Watch? Have you seen anything hit your inbox?
We are only days away from the highly anticipated LG G4 announcement. And thought we pretty much already know all about it, it’s always nice to see some extra teasers. Especially when they display a phone that looks as gorgeous as the LG G4 with a leather back. Here you can see some clips of the leather back being made and branded.
Opinion: This video doesn’t give us much else, but it’s not like there is much more to learn about the phone, anyways.
Chevrolet asked its designers what a car would be like in 2020, and what hey cae up with looks like something straight out of TRON. Of course, the first thing you will notice is its extraneous design. The Chevy FNR has LED lights all around it, as well as inside. There’s also a very innovative magnetic wheel system and what they call “deagonfly” doors.
Aesthetics are but the tip of the iceberg, though. This car is meant to be completely autonomous and fully electric. And because we are talking about the (not-so-distant) future, this car needs no driver. This means the front seats can turn around to face the back seats. This could make for great pre-partying or… you know, meetings.
This is just a concept car so fat, but Chevrolet claims the vehicle is functional. It can drive at low speeds and doesn’t have an autonomous system yet, but the car works.
Opinion: I wonder if something like this will really come to market in 5 years. That’s not really a lot of time, if you put it into perspective. Sure looks like a geek’s dream, though. And it also looks amazingly expensive.
