It seems tonight’s news are all about Apple. We have a new event announced, a new iPad leaked and even a funny video to share.
Rumors of an upcoming Apple event seem to have been proven true. The Cupertino giant has just announced its next announcement date, which is to take place on October 16, at the Apple campus.
The invite displays the sentence “It’s been way too long”. We are not sure what that could mean, but rumors say there will be new iMac and iPad Air models being announced. The former would come with a Retina Displays.
Opinion: It definitely has been a while since the iMacs got a refresh. It may make sense to announce new ones soon, and it would go along with the invite’s tag line.
Wondering what the new iPad Air is all about? Just in time for the event announcement (above), new leaks of the upcoming tablet are now hitting the internet.
Lucky for us, these images are clear and not blurry, giving us a good look at what the device could look like. There are a couple major differences we can see right off the bat. These images show what seems like a Touch ID sensor, which would be a new feature for iPads. It also lacks the mute/rotation switch.
Opinion: The leaked images certainly show what looks like an iPad, but it looks a bit thinner. Overall, it’s what we can expect out of the next-generation iPad. No huge surprises here.
How about something a little funny to end an eventful day? Jimmy Kimmel is known for his funny tech videos, and this time he is poking fun at Siri. The digital assistant just seems to get it wrong all the time, doesn’t it?!
Well, it turns out a recent study shows Siri is the worst voice-activated assistant, so you are not alone in your frustrations. Check out the video and have a good laugh.
Siri: I certainly wouldn’t trust Siri for ordering food, I will tell you that.
