Apple has issued invites for an event that is scheduled to hold on October 22 at San Francisco. It has been widely speculated that the Cupertino based company would be unveiling its new line up of tablets at this event. The invite Cover of the event didn’t give much hint as to what it would be about. It just says the following text – “We still have a lot to cover” – whatever that means. The event would take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater – which has in the past been witness to many Apple events.
The event comes just months after Apple’s new iPhone models made a grand debut. The company has also been under pressure from its investors and users alike to deliver a compelling new product and it is likely that the new announcements on October 22 would be looked upon with scrutiny by these same set of people.
Like mentioned earlier, the new devices expected on Oct. 22 are the new ful sized iPad and the improved iPad Mini. Rumor mills point towards the iPad Mini getting a sharp Retina Display. The iPad on the other hand is also likely to have its display resolution bumped.
It is also plausible that Apple may talk about its new desktop operating system OS X Mavericks and showcase its new Mac lineup.
