Apple and Sony are getting ready to announce their new products, all while LG can’t keep their information secret. Plenty of goods are coming!
Apple sends out event invites
Rumors of a September 9th announcement have been spreading all over the internet, but today we are getting official verification of this. Apple has begun sending out invites for their event, set to take place in a couple weeks.
The invitation doesn’t say much, but we can assume we will be taking a look at the new iPhone 6 devices. Recent rumors say there will also be a wearable at this event, so we might want to keep our eyes open for all the announcements.
Opinion: Regardless of numbers and market shares, Apple has the power to move the industry. When Apple speaks, the world listens… and you can be sure we are ready to hear them!
Sony is getting ready to join the party at IFA, where announcements will be coming left and right. What does Sony have for us? We are not quite sure yet, but the Japanese manufacturer is teasing us with a neat video.
In this teaser we can get a glimpse of three devices in a fraction of a second. Judging by the sizes, we can assume these are two smartphones and a tablet (or two tablets and a smartphone?).
Opinion: Sony has been making legit devices, which makes us wonder what they will bring to the table at this IFA. Rumors do say an Xperia Z3 Compact Tablet is in the works.
LG has been keeping pretty quiet about the G Watch R‘s expected price point, but it seems their partners in Germany didn’t get the memo. A German press release has outed the device is to be priced at 299 Euros (about $394 USD).
Opinion: This price is a bit high, but we can expect it to cost less in the USA. Regardless, it shouldn’t be the cheapest Android Wear device. It is made with premium materials and comes with powerful specs.
