Well, Feedly seems to be down once again. This didn’t stop us from getting you today’s news, though! Today we have stories about Amazon Prime Music, the Samsung Galaxy F and Huawei’s new online store.
Yesterday we reported on a rumored Amazon music streaming service that could be unveiled this week, and indeed it has. Dubbed Amazon Prime Music, the online retailer’s new endeavor aims to bring more value to their current Amazon Prime subscription.
Subscribers will be able to listen to over 1 million songs, with no ads or interruptions. In addition, those without a subscription will be able to test the service for 30 days. After that, you can simply sign up for a $99 yearly subscription, offering Amazon Prime Music and all its other perks.
This service will work a bit differently, in that its bigger focus is on playlists curated by “experts”. You can download music, which will then be sent to Amazon’s Cloud Player. There is no official Amazon Prime Music app just yet, but we can assume it will be hitting all the app stores soon.
Want to take another look at the Samsung Galaxy F (preveiously rumored as the “Galaxy S5 Prime”)? We have a new shot of the rumored device, showing its display in all its glory. There is not much about the screen we can tell in photos, but the display looks bright and the colors vibrant. That can change when you look at a display in person, though.
What matters more here is seeing how thin the bezel is. The device is pictured right next tot he current-generation Samsung Galaxy S5, which does sport a hefty bezel. The Samsung Galaxy F is said to have a 5.3-inch QHD (2560x1440p) display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 3 GB of RAM and a 16 MP camera, so it won’t be a bad device to have.
Opinion: Let’s keep our eyes and ears open for more details on this bad boy. Meanwhile, we can keep salivating over the amazing photo below.
Huawei is entering the American market with full force, opening their very first USA online store. They are offering their accessories, speakers and other nifty products, but the protagonist here is the Huawei Ascend Mate2, which is retailing for only $299!
This is a great price, but the device is also no top contender. It comes with a 6.1-inch 720p screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of ROM and 13MP/5MP cameras.
Opinion: This may seem like an enticing price, but I honestly believe it is not the best deal. For that price, you might be better off getting a Nexus 5, which sports far superior specs. For more details, you can go straight to gethuawei.com and check out the store yourself!
