ASUS is not the only one aiming to take the All-in-One market at Computex 2015. Acer is giving the Taiwanese manufacturer a fight with the Acer Z3710 AiO. This one is a bit more interesting though, as it is not really a desktop computer. It’s more like an over-sized tablet, to be honest.
The screen measures in at over 20 inches diagonally and features a 1080p Full HD resolution. Under the hood we can find a 1.6 GHz Intel Celeron processor and 8 GB of RAM. And of course, the device will come Windows-10 ready when it hits the store shelves.
Ports are plentiful too. This guy comes with its expected buttons (volume, power, etc.). It also has an HDMI port, 2xUSB 3.0, a 3.5 mm headset jack, a power plug, a kensington lock entrance and a mystery port we can’t uncover. I guess we will find out what it is once Acer decides to unveil more on the Z3710.
As you can see, specs and details are limited, so you would be right to guess there is no information on pricing and availability yet. For now we can give you a quick look at it through our video below.
I happen to really like this idea of having an oversized tablet as a computer. It would bring a whole new meaning to portable computer. Imagine if you could literally take your large monitor everywhere? I would love something like this for work trips.
