Google releases a new Google handset every year and it’s almost been a year since the Google Nexus was released. According to GSM Arena HTC is making the next handset targeted at developers and it maybe dubbed the Droid Incredible X or One X 5.
The Google Nexus 5 is rumored to come running Android 4.1.2, which will bring bugfixes, Project Butter improvements, extra lockscreen functionality and other minor tweaks. Google usually has a few tricks up their sleeve, so releasing a version of Jelly Bean tweaked for larger screens makes sense.
The hardware rumors should be taken with a grain of salt but the device will reportedly offer a 1080p display and a Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset. It will also offer a beefy 12MP rear facing camera and a 2MP front-facing snapper. It will be super slim and offer a large, 2,500mAh battery with 64GB of internal memory LTE connectivity.
What do you think? Is this idle gossip or do you think there is some truth to it?
