The Toshiba Satellite U940 has a 14 inch display and will come with 3rd Generation Ivy Bridge with Core i3 and i5 versions available. The Nvidia GT630 graphics card is another option. The ultrabook has 500GB HDD with a 32GB SSD and 8GB of DDR3 RAM. Even though most ultrabooks don’t have many ports, the Satellite U940 is packing them in. It has 2 USB 3.0 and 1 USB 2.0, HDMI, SD card reader, microphone and headphone jack as well as a full size Ethernet port.
The 1366 x 768 display with high color saturation might make up for the fact that the display is not high definition, at least for most people. The bezel is also thinner then your average bezel but nowhere near the LG’s Shuriken displays. The bottom panel is removable, so you can actually upgrade the RAM and HDD as well as a 45Whr battery. The ultrabook weighs about 1.58kg.
