At CES 2014, Toshiba presented some interesting devices, including a 13.3-inch ultrabook called the Toshiba KIRAbook. The KIRAbook features a Pixel Pure Display with a 2560 x 1440 resolution and 10 Finger Touch support. The display is made of Corning Concore glass, making it super durable.
The ultrabook has Windows 8.1 Pro and the Intel Haswell Core i7 processor onboard. The KIRAbook also comes with Intel HD 4400 graphics, a 256 GB SSD, and 8 GB of DDR3 RAM. In terms of connectivity, this Toshiba ultrabook has Intel Dualband Wireless AC-7260, Bluetooth 4.0, Intel Wireless Display, and Miracast. The KIRAbook also includes three USB 3.0 ports (one Sleep and Charge), HDMI UHD Output, SD card reader slot, as well as headphone and microphone jacks.
The KIRAbook promises nine hours of battery life, has a HD web camera onboard, features Harman/Kardon speakers, and DTS Studio Sound. The entire device measures just 316 x 207 x 9.5 (front) /19.8 (back) millimeters and weighs 1.35 kilograms. Check out our hands-on video for more:
