Today we have some very juicy leaks from Sony and HTC. Those of you who like to chat using Outlook won’t be as happy, though.
Sony had a little slip today. The company revealed the first look at the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet through their Xperia Lounge application. It was pulled very quickly, but the guys at Xperia Blog managed to get some good screenshots of the device.
Not many details were shown, but we do know the device will come with a 10-inch 2K display, “the latest ultra fast processor and industry leading battery performance.” An announcement is expected to come on March 2nd, so let’s stay tuned for that in the meantime.
Opinion: The tablet looks very sleek, and we know Sony is very good at making 10-inch devices. This is looking like something exciting to keep our eyes open for, guys.
Sony is not the only one going around the rumor mill today. Some new leaks of the HTC One M9 have come up, in the form of three videos. These videos display the HTC One M9 as it was originally thought to look… just like the HTC One M8.
The videos were taken off YouTube and it looks like @upleaks has deleted its Twitter account. This must mean there is some kind of huge problem going on after this leak. Thankfully, somone did save the videos and we can take a look at them. They are right below.
Opinion: The phone still looks gorgeous, but I can’t deny that leaked press render with a unique design was quite good looking.
Outlook has sent an email to its users announcing they will no longer be supporting Google chat and Facebook chat. These changes are to take effect within the next couple weeks, so you best find another solution if you are a frequent Google or Facebook chatter.
Microsoft mentions that part of this is due to Google decision to discontinue the chat protocol used by Google Talk. There is no mention of why Facebook support is being dropped, but Microsoft is suggesting that you try out Skype (how convenient!).
Opinion: I was actually among the few who used Outlook’s chat features, which makes this pretty upsetting news. Do any of you share my sentiment?
