Sony is still plugging away in the smartphone space, their latest effort is the Xperia TX which we are able to check out at CEATEC in Japan.
The smartphone, which is probably not meant for our market, has a 4.6 inch screen, with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It features a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU wit, 1 GB RAM and 16 GB of memory, and is topped off with a 13 MP shooter. It has a curved design which is in line with the line of Xperia smartphones that we’ve seen hit the street over the past year. The Sony Xperia TX a pleasantly light and sleek device.
The operating system is Android Ice Cream Sandwich but they claim that the update to Jelly Bean is right around the corner. We got to check out some of Sony’s line up at IFA and now Sony has kept the releases coming on their home turf in Japan.
