Today at CES we went comparison video crazy with the new Sony Xperia Z. This new flagship device for Sony has some interesting features that certainly make it a stand out. We compared it to the HTC One X, HTC Butterfly, Nokia Lumia 920 & Samsung Galaxy Note.
First, let’s review the Sony Xperia Z’s specs. It has a 5 inch 1920 x 1080, 443 ppi display, Android Jelly Bean, quad core CPU and 2 GB RAM. It also has NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, micro HDMI, USB 2.0 and a 13 megapixel camera.
We compared the Xperia Z to the HTC One X first. The One X has a 4.7 inch display with 720 x 1280 resolution, is running Ice Cream Sandwich and the NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor.
We then compared the Xperia Z to the HTC Butterfly. This smartphone has nearly the same ppi as the Xperia Z and the same 5 inch screen size. It’s also running Jelly Bean and has a quad core processor.
Next up, the Nokia Lumia 920, a 4.5 inch Windows 8 smartphone with a 332 ppi and dual core CPU.
And last but not least, we compared the Xperia Z to the Samsung Galaxy Note with its 5.3 inch display with 285 ppi, S Pen and dual core CPU.
