Tonight’s set of news is hot! Especially if you are a fan of Sony, gender equality and affordable tablets.
Sony accidentally leaked an upcoming tablet just yesterday, and it seems they are now ready to start showing us a bit more. The Japanese manufacturer is teasing a new tablet that is “slimmer, lighter and brighter”.
We get no more details, but we are pretty sure they are talking about that leaked Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet. Rumors say it will come with a 10-inch 2K display, an ultra fast processor and good battery life.
Opinion: I am not a fan of 10-inch tablets, but I can’t deny this thing is looking good! Maybe I’ll just wait around for a compact version.
It’s 2015 and the world needs to be more welcoming. Especially companies who work with sony many types of users, like Facebook. The social network added the ability to choose from a list of genders that extended far beyond your average male or female options.
Today they are taking this feature and making it even better. What if you still can’t identify with one of the available genders? You can now write down your very own! And just in case you don’t want everyone minding your business, you can also set which users you would like to share this information with.
Opinion: This expanded custom gender option is only available in English for now, but be patient. We should see the feature come to other languages in due time.
Looking for a good, yet affordable tablet to use with your Sprint account? Today’s announcement may make your day jsut a bit brighter. Turns out Sprint is set to release its first LG tablet come March 13th. This would be the LG G Pad F 7.0.
To make the deal even sweeter, this tablet happens to be free after signing a 2-year contract. The tablet comes with a 7-inch 1280x800p resolution, a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, 5/1.2 MP cameras and a 4000 mAh battery.
Opinion: Not a bad little tablet for the price of NOTHING! Well, signing a 2-year contract is something… but remember Sprint has very good prices, and bundled with an LG G3 this is actually a pretty good deal. Just make sure to check you have good Sprint service in your area. I wouldn’t want to be stuck on Sprint 3G.
