Shenzhen is a vibrant, bustling, young, and modern city of 12 million in southern China. Just across the border from Hong Kong, Shenzhen and the region around it comprise one of the most active and important manufacturing centers in the world today.

We’ve been saving this video for a while since it’s apart of a series on computer markets, we’ve already done one on Guang hua Digital plaza here in Taipei and the Gilmore IT center in Manila, Philippines.

We take a closer look at the darker side of Shenzhen as we catch multiple vendors scraping off old battery labels and placing brand new labels and stickers of authenticity. Buyer beware, things are done a little differently in China.
