Every member of the Mobile Geeks team has their fingers crossed: the launch of a new website, the start of IFA and very soon, all of us will be together in Berlin. Naturally, we’d love to say that the Unpack Event from Samsung is going to bring some very big news in terms of software updates.
The way Android Central tells it, Jelly Bean for the Samsung Galaxy S3 is all but ready. The release of Android 4.1.1 could happen in a number of ways. Those with trusted sources near to Samsung’s plans believe that the update to Jelly Bean for the best selling smartphone will roll out right after the Unpack Event on August 29th.
Android Central thinks that Great Britain might be one of the first countries and warns that America and Canadian LTE versions will have to wait a little bit longer. If this is the case and Jelly Bean is coming to the S3 that quickly, I wouldn’t play around with too many leaked firmwares on the internet. Jelly Bean, coming soon to an S3 near you!
