Seven inch tablets are in their heyday. Amazon, Google and even Apple have joined in on the great 7 inch tablet race. Now it appears that Samsung may be working on its own contribution to the game. The DLNA certification of a device with the model number GT-N5100 has been leaked. The GT-N5100 is generally believed to be a 7 inch version of the Samsung Galaxy Note tablet.
It’s unclear if the smaller version of the Galaxy Note tablet will have a 7 inch or 7.7 inch display, but it is relatively certain that it will have an HD display and the quad core 1.6 GHz Exynos 4412 processor. No other specifications have been leaked as of yet, but it seems that the the device will come in two versions: a Wi-Fi only and a 3G model.
With the strength of the quad core processor, it’s a fair bet that the 7 inch Samsung Galaxy Note tablet will carry a price tag similar to that of the Apple iPad Mini.
The new and improved S-Pen would distinguish the Galaxy Note from all other 7 inch tablets currently on the market. What do you think? Would you be interested in a 7 inch Note?
