If you’ve got a Samsung smartphone I bet you’re wondering when your device will be getting Google’s latest operating system, Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean The Verge has gotten their hands on a document with list of device that are going to be getting the up date.

Which Samsung Devices Will Get Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean?

The following 10 smartphones get next to the Galaxy SIII from Samsung Jelly Bean Update:

  • Galaxy S II
  • Galaxy Note
  • Galaxy S Advance
  • Galaxy S II LTE
  • Community Chat
  • Galaxy Ace 2
  • Galaxy Beam
  • Galaxy Ace Plus
  • Galaxy Mini 2
  • Galaxy S Duos

And for these four tablets will bring Samsung Jelly Bean:

  • Galaxy Tab 2 7.0
  • Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus
  • Galaxy Tab 2 10.1
  • Galaxy Note 10.1

We’re a little disappointed that the Galaxy Tab 10.1N hasn’t gotten the update since clearly it’s possible since the 10.1 is getting the update.

Also on the list was a device that we’ve never heard of, the Galaxy Music.  Samsung is no stranger to music player’s but we’re only left wondering when they’re going to announce it.

  1. It’s good to see that Samsung’s update process is speeding up even though it’s still much slower than it should be. I’m glad that they seem dedicated to getting out the updates to their phones that have been released in the last 18 months or so.

By the way, still really excited to see the winners to the Galaxy Nexus contest. Thanks!
