Qualcomm is testing out a few new ideas at CES this year. One of the most interesting prototypes is the Qtv Kitchen Interactive Display powered by the Snapdragon S4 Plus. The idea of a digital kitchen sounds like something from the future, but Qualcomm has an interesting demo to show how it could work.
The Qualcomm Qtv Kitchen Interactive Display has a transparent display with removable glass on top. It’s powered by the Snapdragon S4 Plus and has the Dragon Board, which can be embedded in kitchen appliances, medical technology, etc. You can even can wash the glass to keep it clean when things get messy in the kitchen. The processor is very power efficient and has Bluetooth, NFC, GPS and WiFi capabilities. Qualcomm wants to extend the reach of smartphone and tablet processors like the Snapdragon S4, and bring them into the kitchen other applications.
