Panasonic showed off a few really rugged tablets today at CES. The Panasonic JT-B1 ToughBook is so rugged in fact that it can even be used by the military. It has a sunlight readable display and can be dropped from 5 feet and not smash into smithereens.

It has a 7 inch LCD display with 1024X600 pixels. It also has 1GB ARM, a 1 GHz processor and 16 GB up to 32 GB of memory. For ports it has a Micro USB 2.0 and HDMI Port. It also has an 8 MP camera onboard. The look is really sturdy and durable with rubberized corners to protect the tablet from any kind of rough handling.

  1. Sadly unlike the toughbooks, this one will be obsolete in no time thanks to the general reluctance towards letting the users update or replace the OS.
