Nokia’s much leaked phablet, the Lumia 1520 – also codenamed the “Bandit” seems all set to see the official light of the day on September 26, 2013 according to @evleaks – the same twitter account that had in the past leaked most of the details about the phone.
While @evleaks doesn’t tell anything more about the source of this news, there is high chance this could be true since the twitter account has had a good track record when it comes to previous leaks.
Like we had mentioned in our earlier posts about this rumoured device, this will be Nokia’s biggest screened device with it sporting a 6 inch (hopefully, full HD) display. There are other reports that the launch event would happen at New York City and that the probable date for the launch could be either September 26 or 27.
Other specifications include the much used (on other Nokias and now the iPhone 5c!) polycarbonate body, the Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor. The rear camera is now rumoured to sport the ability to capture images at 20-megapixels.
