The LG G3 is not trying hard to stay off the news, with the latest leak revolving around the upcoming super phone. HTC rumors of a few upcoming phone are rolling around. Meizu is also throwing some punches at OnePlus! Keep reading to learn more about these topics.
LG is not one to stay very traditional. The manufacturer’s devices often come with very unique specs and features, placing them above the competition. The LG G3 is breaking boundaries with amazing specs and one of the first QHD displays to come to the market. That is simply not enough, though – LG has something in mind to make the phone shine even more.
The latest leak shows the LG G3 in gold. We are not talking the “champagne” gold we see in other devices, either. This looks like bright gold.
The smartphone will probably be available in multiple colors and designs. We have already seen black, white and something that looks like a brushed metal look. Add gold to the equation and you now have options for every taste.
Opinion: With so many leaks in hand, we can only assume the LG G3 is to be announced anytime soon. I am really looking forward to seeing what they can bring to the table this year. Let’s just hope it lives up to all this hype.
HTC hasn’t been releasing many devices lately. The HTC One M8 is a little lonely and it’s time for a few more smartphones to come from the Taiwanese manufacturer. The latest leaks and rumors focus on three devices: the HTC One Mini 2, “A9” and “B2”.
The HTC One Mini 2 is said to be a smaller version of the One M8. We have seen it in previous leaks and it looks nearly identical to the flagship smartphone. The A9 and B2 are new mid-end devices, with the B2 being part of the Butterfly family.
Exact availability is still a mystery, but the A9 and One Mini 2 are said to come by the end of Q2 or during early Q3. Also, the B2 will only be available in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan.
Opinion: What I am wondering is what happened with the HTC Desire 816. That was a great device!
HTC B2 is new Butterfly device, specs are the same as M8. Glossy body. It will be sold only in HK/Taiwan/Japan and some other Asian markets.

Asian manufacturers are doing a great job at making awesome devices for very affordable prices, but it can be a hassle to purchase one if you live outside Asia. Resellers can often be unreliable and not very trustworthy. That is, if they even have the device in stock.
Meizu wants to make this process simpler for their customers by opening an official online store. Meizumart.com has officially launched today. The Chinese manufacturer is also touting that there’s no need for an invitation, which is a direct hit at OnePlus.
Currently, you can pre-order the Meizu MX3 in 16, 32 and 64 GB configurations. Customers get free shipping and a 1-year warranty. All the perks, no risks and straight from the manufacturer.
Opinion: This is a road more Asian manufacturers need to follow. Many of us wouldn’t hesitate to purchase some of those devices, but in the US it’s very hard to even find a way to import one.
