Having a bad day? Let’s let off some steam with some of the silliest and funniest tech-related content on the web this week!
Siri is a hit or miss. The digital assistant can sometimes be a life saver, but I have found much of the time it has no clue what you actually need or want. Now imagine if Siri was one of the people you trust the most for important advice. What a mess, right? The guys at The Daily Dot made a video of what this situation would look like, and it’s pretty hillarious.
We are all excited about the new Star Wars movie, right? The sad part is that we have to wait until Christmas to be able to watch it. That feels like a very long time, but the guys at Noober Goomer Gaming have put together an awesome video that should at least brighten your day. It’s the latest Star Wars trailer in full-on 240p 16-bit! Loving it.
Because Goat Simulator isn’t scary enough and DayZ isn’t cute enough. Enter GoatZ, a new game from the creators of Goat Simulator. This game will have you rolling around the floor; we are just not sure if it will be of laughter or of fear.
It’s a full-on survival game, but the main protagonists are, of course, goats. The game is out today as an expansion to Goat Simulator. The good news for mobile users is that you can get it as a standalone game. It is “poorly scripted and has as many bugs as all other survival games… maybe even more”. Oh, and it costs $4.99 from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
I can’t even begin to calculate how many hours of my life went into the Snake game that came pre-installed in millions of Nokia devices. It was on my first phone, back when the Finnish smartphone manufacturer was king of mobile. If you didn’t play Snake in the 90’s you really did live under a rock.
So what happened with the creator of this amazing game? Well, not many of us knew this, but his name is Taneli Armanto and he has partnered with Rumilus Design to make an epic comeback. Snake is coming back, guys.
The improved, modern version will be named Snake Rewind. As its name entails, you will be able to rewind and keep playing even after crashing. There will be different types of fruits, 10 levels and even a leaderboard to see how you stand against others.
The game will be released for Android, iOS and Windows Phone come May 14th. Get ready to destroy your fingertips once again!
