Motorola, under Google’s leadership was expected to deliver some compelling new devices. That however is yet to happen. The much talked about XPhone from Motorola is nowhere to be seen and nor do we have any news about any impending launch from them. Until today, that is.
Folks from the Vietnamese website Tinhte (don’t ask me how to pronounce that) have put up a hands on video of a hitherto unseen Motorola handset. Called the XT912A, the device happens to be an Android 4.2 Jelly Bean device. As of now, the known specifications include a 4.65-inch display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro SoC, 2GB of RAM, and a 2,200 mAh processor.
Now, for those of you who know about the mythical Xphone, by now, you might be convinced that feature wise, there is nothing X Phonish about this device and that least on paper, this looks like a decent handset with which people won’t have many complaints. It’s just that do not expect the X912A to do something mind blowing or something that would change the course of mobile phone history – like the iPhone did back in 2007.
Here is the video btw.
Update: That video has now been now been removed. (for obvious reasons).
