The Moto X was officially launched just a matter of hours ago, but that hasn’t stopped us comparing it to other smartphones on the market to see how the new flagship from Motorola shapes up. Here is our comparison of the Moto X and the LG G3.
The LG G3 is a remarkable device in many respects, packing a 5.5-inch a QHD display into a remarkably small body. As well the QHD display on the G3, the two devices have plenty in common, using the Snapdragon 801 processor from Qualcomm, 32GB of flash storage, AMOLED displays, Android 4.4.2 and more. Check out the video below where our buddy Roland compares the two devices side by side.
The Moto X is an attempt from Motorola to gain a foothold in the high-end 5 inch+ smartphone segment, a segment where LG have recently seen some success with their LG G2 and the new LG G3, both of which are devices that we regard very highly.
It will be interesting to see end users react to the Moto X, which does benefit from Google’s close involement, bringing a very vanilla and unfussy UI experience that many Nexus and Google Play devices users will appreciate.
