The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ was launched earlier today at Mobile World Congress, which is where we managed to get a quick first-time hands on experience with the device, which is the follow-up to the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8, one of our favorite mobile devices.
Expected to hit stores with a price tag of around $349, the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10HD+ integrates a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with a 10.1” full HD 1080p resolution display. The version we got hold of in Barcelona, was running Android 4.3 however, this is expected to be updated to Android 4.4 when it finally ships.
One interesting thing that Nicole notes in the video, is that the integrated stand has been made a little larger and more prominent than the original 8 inch device. I guess this is to help make the tablet more stable when used in the standing position, the larger screen requiring a broader base to maintain stability. This is great because the stand was one stand-out feature (excuse the pun) that we really like on the original Yoga Tablet.
It’s also great to see the 10.1” display in action. From what we can see in the video, the 1080p resolution display looks absolutely stunning. Really looking forward to getting up close with a review of this one.
