Not happy with the new LG devices we have shown you? The LG Fx0 and LG Spirit are great, but they may not offer enough to fulfill your desires. This is why we went back to take a look at the LG Magna, the best of the Korean manufacturer’s MWC mid-range smartphones.

LG Magna spevs

  • Android 5.0 Lollipop
  • 5-inch 1280x720p display
  • 1.2 GHz quad-core processor
  • 1 GB of RAM
  • 8 GB of internal storage
  • 2540 mAh battery

For starters, keep in mind this is no powerhouse, it is simply the best of the mid-tier devices LG announced at this specific show. With that in mind, this phone happens to work very well and should keep many of you happy.

The 5-inch screen only has a 720p display, but much like the LG Spirit, it is a pretty gorgeous display. Remember, high definition can only take you so far, it is the panel’s quality that really matters. For what it’s worth, this device happens to sport a pretty awesome panel, which displays colors very well, is super bright and has very good viewing angles.

As for the design and build quality, LG is bringing a touch of its high-end devices to these affordable handsets. The build quality is solid and looks much like an LG G3. Look at the device sideways and you will find it also takes some elements from the Company’s G Flex line-up. There is definitely a slight curve to the device.

No details on pricing and availability are being revealed right now, but LG did tell us to expect prices to be similar to the F series. Those went up to $299, so that will likely be the price of the LG Magna. Are you signing up for one?
