We are starting the week with some great leaks from LG and HTC. But don’t worry, we have you covered if you need something a bit more official. How about a $100 smartphone?
Need some more evidence of the LG G3 before it’s announced, tomorrow? How about a full set of leaked images showing you the demo units. We know this is not as exciting as a working device, but it’s a little something that will show you how the device will look in the hand.
In case you haven’t been staying updated, this smartphone should feature a stunning 5.5-inch QHD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3 GB of RAM, a 13 MP camera, a 3000 mAh battery and more.
Opinion: I am definitely ready to stop talking about and rumors and get to the real action here. I am almost sure we will get something else before tomorrow, though.
Are you ready to see a more affordable version of the HTC One M8? There is the HTC One Mini 2, which we just reviewed, but there is also the rumored HTC One M8 Ace. This should be liek the One M8, but with a more affordable, plastic construction.
A new rumor indicates the HTC One M8 Ace will be launching June 3rd for a price under $500. This makes the device cheaper than the usual high-end device, yet you get to keep the high-end specs. These include a Snapdragon 801 processor, 2 GB of RAM and a 5-inch 1080p display.
Opinion: If there is something I like about HTC, it’s their build quality. I wouldn’t like to see that being sacrificed, but this leak also promises the device is not built cheap, either. It’s just not made of metal.
Need an affordable smartphone? China has lots of great options, and now we have another one. The Zopo ZP6470 will go on sale in just a few weeks for 599 Yuan ($96 USD). It’s not a horrible smartphone, either.
Inside you will find a 4.5-inch 960x540p display, a Mediatek processor, 512 MB of RAM, 5MP/2MP cameras and a 1700 mAh battery.
Opinion: Not too bad, but I would go for a Xiaomi device instead, if given the choice. The Redmi Note is only $30 more and offers far superior specs.
