Lenovo came in with a bang at CES, introducing many new Windows 8 devices including the IdeaPad Yoga 11S. The Yoga 11S is a spin off the Yoga 13 which we’ve already seen. The Yoga 11S packs all the same benefits in a smaller package of 11.6 inches.
The IdeaPad Yoga 11S has an 11.6 inch HD IPS display with very wide viewing angels and 10 point multitouch. It weighs only 3.08 pounds and a 6 hour battery life. Inside, you have the option of the 3rd generation Intel processors up to i5 in the US and up to i7 worldwide. The Yoga 11S has Intel integrated 4000 graphics, up to 8 GB DDR3 memory and up to 256 GB SSD storage.
The Yoga 11S also has a nice sound system with Dolby Home Theater v4 sound. This convertible also boasts quite a few ports including: 1 USB 2.0, 1 USB 3.0, 2in1 headphone and mic, 2in1 SD and MMC card reader as well as HDMI output. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 are also included.
The unique flip and fold 360 degree hinge makes the Yoga design a stand out. It easily moves between its three different modes: stand, tent. It will be available in June for $799. If you liked the 13 inch, but wanted a smaller model, this 11.6 incher might be the right fit for you.
We checked it out yesterday at CES Unveiled. Watch the hands-on video here.
