We got to check out a new Prototype tablet from Intel running Bay Trail, it’s a new processor line up will be aimed at entry level computing. The new product line will feature Baytrail M for Mobile and Baytrail D for desktop. The 22nm chipset will be aimed at smartphones and tablets and in desktop think All in One systems.
Bay Trail will be the most powerful Atom processor to date as it will be offering a Quad Core SoC, it should double the computing performance on Intel’s current generation of tablet processors.
We got to check out a 10.1 inch tablet with a 1440p display running Windows 8, but there is also the option for Android. There is still no word about when we will be seeing it, but Intel has been pushing a September release date. We haven’t been able to confirm if they’re still on track, fingers crossed because it looks pretty good!
