Huawei’s P8 is finally here, but it’s not alone! We are also covering a couple apps you may want to test out. This and more past the break!
Huawei has been getting ready for its latest launch and today we are seeing all its new products come to fruition. Yes, we have more than one product from Huawei being announced. They actually launched the huawei P8 and Huawei P8 Max.
The Huawei P8 comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p display, a Huawei Kirin 920 octa-core processor, 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage 13MP/8MP cameras and a 2600 mAh battery. This phone will start at €499, which is a reasonable price considering the internals.
Now, let’s talk about its bigger brother, the P8 Max. This abomination comes with a 6.8-inch display! The rest of the hardware is almost the same, with the exception of the battery, which holds a massive 4360 mAh of juice. Oh, and you also get 64 GB of internal storage. It’s prices only slightly higher at €549, but we won’t see it coming to the states.
Opinion: Huawei, we knew you like your big phones, but we had no idea you would take things this far. This is insane!
So we know the Samsung Galaxy S6 has an awesome hardware. Definitely the best Samsung has ever created. But what about the software? We can tell you it’s definitely lighter and much more pleasant than other TouchWiz versions, but you won’t know if you like it until you experience it.
Can’t get a hold of a Galaxy S6? Samsung has your back. You can download the Samsung Galaxy S6 Experience app on any Android device. This application will give you a good look at what the Galaxy S6 software has to offer.
Opinion: It’s nice to see Samsung doing something like this. It shows they are confident about their product and are willing to give you all the previews you need before making a decision. Check out the app if you are thinking of getting a Samsung Galaxy S6. And don’t forget to check out our very own review of the Galaxy S6!
Ever wanted to just write letters into your device without worrying about keyboards? It’s an idea some developers have been toying with for some time, but Google is here to finally set the record straight. The Search Giant has launched Google Handwriting Input, and it does just what it sounds like it does.
You can hand write both regular and cursive letters into this keyboard, with support 82 different languages. It works very well, and even has support for emojis! Yes, you can even draw your happy faces. It’s admittedly a bit more work, but very fun.
Opinion: So we invented the keyboard in order to type faster, just so we can go back to hand writing. What a trip!
