Huawei announced that its MediaPad 7 Lite tablet with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB memory will be coming to select markets in September before expanding its reach. The 7 inch tablet has a 1.2 GHz Core A8 processor and is running Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
There’s no information yet on when ICS will give way to Jelly Bean, but Huawei is hoping sooner rather than later. The 7 inch display is IPS with a 1024 x 600 resolution. In terms of ports, it has USB, headphone, microphone, SIM card reader and Micro SD ports. On the back is a 3.2 MP camera and on the front, a 0.3 MP cam.
One of this tablet’s advantages is that it comes in a 3G version and has a microphone jack and SIM card slot so you can make phone calls. The ability to make phone calls will certainly make the Huawei MediaPad 7 lite popular with phablet Phans
