Huawei is looking to make a name for themselves by coming out with products that are pushing the high end with their specifications. The Huawei MediaPad 10 was released at IFA back in Sept and it was the best tablet that was launched at the show. What we have today is another device called the Ascend Mate a 6.1 inch Phablet.
IF the rumors are true it will offer Huawei’s own 1.8GHz quad-core K3V3 CPU and is 9.9mm thick come with 2GB of RAM and have an enormous 4,000mAh battery. It is larger then the Galaxy Note 2 (5.5″) and is a larger 6.1 inch but has a 1080p display. At CEATEC a few weeks ago we came across a crazy 6.1″ 2560 x 1600 display from Sharp, at the time I wondered who would come out with such a form factor display. Though the rumors indicate it’s not this display, imagine if they did!
Here is our hands on video so you can see it for your self.
