HTC M7 To Launch February 19 & 6 New Mid-Range Smartphones To Follow?

The Italian mobile obsessive Flavio announced via Twitter that the HTC M7 would be presented on the 19th of February at a special event. The location of the event is unknown, but he believes it will be in London, where the Samsung Galaxy S3 was recently presented at a private launch event. Based on current information, the HTC M7 will be the new top model in the line-up. It will have a 4.7-inch Full HD display, a 1.7 GHz quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM and a 13 – megapixel camera.

Besides the M7,  HTC allegedly plans to introduce a full line-up of new smartphones in the lower and middle price segment. The analysts at the investment-banking German Securities stated that HTC will introduce as many as seven devices, including the M7, that will be part of the new series.

A metal case is expected on only the top model. The other versions will most likely come with plastic cases. It’s still unclear if these devices will be presented simultaneously with the M7. It also is unclear how trustworthy the information provided by the analysts will prove to be.
