Looks like HTC isn’t done releasing phones with a 1080p display Evleaks has Tweeted an image of a device that should end up with the name the HTC Droid DNA. If you’re after more specifics it’s code name is ‘ADR6435 Deluxe’ which isn’t very sexy.
But evidence has been piling up that this is the US version of the HTC J Butteryfly. A device featuring a 5-inch 1080p display has passed through the FCC as the HTC6435LVW, which actually was also leaked by EVLeaks. The US handset should offer a full HD display with a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and an 8-megapixel camera.
The HTC J Butterfly features a 5-inch 1920 x 1080 (1080p) Super LCD 3 display. This next generation screen produces a phenomenal 440ppi – a pixel density that’s around 25 percent deeper than the Samsung Galaxy S3’s display.
According to multiple leaks the DROID DNA will in fact come with 16 and 32GB of storage options. Then Verizon and HTC opted for a larger 2,500 mAh battery in this model, something I’m glad to see although still believe it could easily be bigger.
The consensus appears to be that it’s going to see a street date of December 6th which gets it in under the wire for the holiday sales season. What do you think about the HTC J Butterfly? HTc phablet is looking to step toe to toe with the Samsung Galaxy Note. Think HTC can pull it off.
