HP just revealed three new super light and ultrathin notebooks to their ranks. Though technically not ultrabooks as Intel classifies them, the new Envy m4 and Sleekbooks 14 and 15 might as well be ultrabooks.
The HP Envy m4 comes with two processor options: Intel Core i3 or i5. Inside is 8 GB RAM, a battery that should last up to 8 hours and HDD or SDD options. The 14 inch screen has a resolution of 1366 x 768 and the notebook itself is cased in aluminum. The HP Envy m4 also has a fingerprint reader for security, Beats Audio and an optical drive. The Envy m4 will be available starting October 26 with prices from $899 and up.
The two new Sleekbooks feature 14 and 15.6 inch HD displays and optional discrete NVIDIA graphics. The 15.6 inch gets the Intel processor while the 14 inch has an AMD chip onboard. Both Sleekbooks have USB 3.0 and 2.0, HDMI and HD webcams. The duo will be released October 26th with prices starting at $499 and $559 respectively.
