Gigabyte introduced a few new devices at CES today including a pair of tablets. One is intended for more casual use while the other is aimed at the business customer.
The S1185 has an 11.6-inch Full HD IPS display and Windows 8 onboard. 3rd Generation Intel Core Processors power the Slate tablet and it has standard VGA & HDMI ports, magnetic keyboard, mouse buttons, Optical Finger Navigation when in PC mode and two cameras.
The S1082 Slate has the newest energy efficient Intel dual-core processor onboard. There are two versions of this tablet which is aimed at business customers. With the 500 GB HDD version, you certainly won’t have to worry about space, but the SSD version has the speed.
The Slate has a capacitive multi-touch display and finger navigation as well as mouse buttons. The S1082 also has HDMI, LAN and VGA ports. An added bonus is the built-in 3.5G antenna that allows you to stay online anywhere, anytime. A keyboard is also available.
