Let’s face it, digital keyboards are more often small and annoying to use. Who among us doesn’t like to feel keys beneath our fingertips? But then again, who wants to carry around a giant “mobile” keyboard at all times? No one! Jorno’s foldable keyboard may just be the answer.
Jorno’s foldable bluetooth keyboard isn’t exactly new. The company showed off the idea 2 years ago and there were even reports that it might come to market in 2011. But 2011 came and went without the truly mobile keyboard coming to the market. Now, Jorno is raising funds on Kickstarter to finally produce the gadget.
When folded, the Jorno keyboard is literally small enough to fit in your pocket at 3.5 x 3.5 x 1.2 inches. As the keyboard unfolds it grows to 8.5 x 3.5 x 0.3 inches. The mobile keyboard weighs only 8.8 ounces and has a rechargeable lithium ion battery which will last you a month before you have to recharge. In addition, it has Bluetooth 2.1 and is compatible with any OS you want and pretty much any device you want including Android, iOS, Mac, Windows, Symbian and WebOS.
If you’re interested, you might want to check out their page on Kickstarter. So far they’ve raised $28,150 of their $100,000 goal and they only have 26 days left. Here’s the video:

Targus solved this problem 10+ years ago with the Stowaway and it was sleeker and probably better than this one.
