German audio specialist Blaupunkt has entered into the tablet game at IFA 2012 with a series, which includes the Blaupunkt Discovery T3. It is a 9.7-inch tablet in 4:3 format, the display has a resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels. Under the hood we’ve got a quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor that should provide plenty of power.
It’s got a pretty steep price tag at 450 Euro, which does work since it does offer looking at other similarly equiped tablets. But with such uncompetitive pricing it seems like just another another tablet with an iPad format, and it terms of features there really isn’t much to set it apart. It’s got 1 GB of RAM and 16 or 32 GB of flash memory, a 5-megapixel camera and an other run of the mill spec is Android 4.0 and not Jelly Bean.
Here is our hands on video if you’re keen to take a closer look.

Don’t they know that 4:3 aspect ratio doesn’t go well with Android.
